In the first instance, depending on your circumstances, we may decide to put forward an informal payment plan to your creditors, including HMRC. By using a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner to create the proposal and manage this process on your behalf, it is far more likely that creditors will agree to the plan and will often accept a lower amount, spread over a longer period of time to help improve your cash flow in the short term.
Another solution is that we propose a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). This is a formal insolvency process where you will pay a monthly amount to your creditors, generally over a five year period. At the end of the CVA term, all outstanding debts are written off.
